The 2015 vintage for Brunello is one of the most iconic vintages, ever.  Sesta di Sopra is truly a little gem, growing only Sangiovese Grosso, traditionally.  With only 8 hectares of vineyards, we are so proud to be able to represent this winery in Australia and in our City Cellar.  The owners, Ettore and Enrica, both in their 80's have a depth of knowledge, experience and passion that is felt in every sip.  Ettore likes to say his wife spoils their vines the same way she does his grandchildren... that he often finds her picking off damanged berries one by one with tweezers in the early morning.
