2022 La Spinetta Il Rose de Casanova
Inspired by Provençal rosés, the Rivettis dedicated themselves to the production of La Spinetta's first and only rosé. The potential of the territory of the Casanova estate combined with the characteristics of Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile have allowed the birth of a wine that shows character, intense aromas, pleasantness and drinkability. On the nose it shows floral and fruity scents, with citrus and Mediterranean scrub notes. On the palate it is wonderfully fresh and delicate with mineral notes and an enveloping acidity.
Sangiovese 50%, Prugnolo Gentile 50%
Destemming and soft pressing, without pressing the grapes, in which the must remains briefly in contact with the skins in order to obtain an extremely balanced free-run must. Alcoholic fermentation for approximately 10 days. Aging in steel tanks on its own yeasts for 3 months.
